Leading the fresh wave of bands are the world’s only Elvis fronted Nirvana act, Elvana, who join the Donington bill alongside symphonic metal titans Epica, The Beaches, The Inspector Cluzo, Palisades and Blurred Vision.

Hailing from Newcastle-upon-Tyne (via Graceland and Seattle), Elvana consists of Elvis, Danny Cobain, Rob Novoselic and Bobby Grohl, and their set will consist of Nirvana songs with an Elvis twist.

The line-up for The Side Splitter Stage, located in The Village, has also been unveiled and it will play host to an array of hilarious stand-up comedians, character acts, and musical comedy.

Joining the previously announced and huge Jim Breuer, are Mock The Week regular Ed Gamble, plus Aaron Simmonds, Allyson June Smith, Andrew Bird, Andy Field, Brett Domino, Dan Nightingale, Danny Mcloughlin, David Longley, Emmanuel Sonubi, Jimmy Mcghie, John Lynn, Jonathan Mayor, Laura Lexx, Lou Conran, Mark Simmons, Milo Mccabe, Rachel Fairburn, Rich Wilson, Rob Kemp, Stephen Buchanan, Sully O' Sullivan and Thomas Green.

Taking place at Donington Park from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th June, among the 100+ bands appearing on the Download Festival line-up across the weekend are Def Leppard, Slipknot, Tool, Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, Whitesnake, Clutch, Halestorm, Slayer (final UK show), Stone Temple Pilots, Rob Zombie, Anthrax and Blackberry Smoke.

Elsewhere, WWE NXT UK returns once again and in addition to the NXT UK wrestlers, Download will welcome NXT superstars Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly of Undisputed ERA, Shayna Baszler, Matt Riddle, and more to come, to the epic line-up.
