Singer-songwriter to collaborate with band on their next album.
Dave Grohl has revealed that Elton John is due to make a guest appearance on the new Queens of the Stone Age album.
Grohl interviewed Elton last night on the E! TV network, where he has taken over hosting duties for this week. you can view the interview below.
Other guests on the album include Mark Lanegan and Jack Shears from the Scissor Sisters. Queens Of the Stone Age are due to descend on the UK this June in order to play the download festival.
Meanwhile Elton John he will be among musicians celebrating the life of Levon Helm at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony.
Helm died last year from throat cancer.
