Earlybird AC/DC Fans Clamour For Homecoming

Aussie legends play first show today

AC/DC fans in Australia started queuing to get into the band’s first homecoming show a full 15 hours before the doors even opened.

The Herald Sun reports that such was the excitement about DC’s homecoming that fans began to queue outside of the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne at about 1am local time, with the band due to come onstage at 8.55pm (following support from Wolfmother).

Some fans reportedly took up to a week off work just for the concert, which is the first of three shows at the stadium.

AC/DC play eleven shows in Australia before heading off to Japan and then back over to Europe in May.

They have already been confirmed as headliners of this year’s Download Festival, which takes place on the weekend of 11-13 June.
