Early Beatles Recordings To Be Released
The music was recorded in 61-62 with Tony Sheridan
NME reports that the release will feature some of the earliest recordings from the Fab Four recorded in Hamburg in 1961-62. The deluxe double CD set is entitled 'The Beatles With Tony Sheridan: First Recordings' and it features Pete Best.
Original Beatles numbers such as 'Ain't She Sweet' and 'Cry For A Shadow' appear on the album along with covers and other rare material (which sounds remarkably like the 2004 deluxe Polydor release entitled The Beatles' First).Â
The package will contain photos taken by one-time Beatles guitarist Stuart Sutcliffe's fiancee Astrid Kirchherr, band contracts, poster art of early shows and handwritten biographies by each member of the group.
The album is due to be released in the US on 8 November.
