Eagles donate $2.5 million to FireAid concert for Los Angeles wildfires relief

Rock legends Eagles have donated a massive $2.5 million (£2.05 million) to an upcoming benefit concert raising money for those affected by the Los Angeles wildfires.
Described as “an evening of music and solidarity”, the fundraising concert will take place at the 18,000-capacity Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California on Thursday 30th January 2025.
Eagles manager Irving Azoff and his family are producing the show alongside concert promoter heavyweights Live Nation and AEG Presents.
According to Billboard, proceeds from the show will go towards rebuilding Los Angeles infrastructure, supporting displaced families, and advancing future fire prevention technologies and strategies.
Despite their pledge, Eagles haven’t yet been confirmed for the concert, however it seems highly likely they will perform as they have a night off from their epic residency at the Las Vegas Sphere venue.
The scheduling three days before the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles will also make the task of assembling the line-up much easier for promoters.
Earlier this week, Metallica donated $500,000 to wildfire relief efforts via their All Within My Hands Foundation.
Pop megastar Taylor Swift has already donated $10 million to wildfire relief, while Beyonce has pledged $2.5 million.
