E Street Band To Decide Future

Bruce and his band to meet to discuss whether to carry on following Clarence\'s death

The E Street Band have been understandably inactive since the sad passing of Clarence Clemons in June. However, Pollstar reports that they are to meet up and discuss whether they should carry on in the next few weeks.

Guitarist Steve Van Zandt reportedly said that they would never be the same without Clemons and his signature saxophone sound, but also added that the band weren’t the same after the death of Danny Federici, their keyboard player, in 2008. "That’s a void we will never replace," admitted Van Zandt.

Van Zandt said that he expects the band to carry on playing "until the end" because "that's what we do."
