Download Pilot in photos

On the weekend of Friday 18th to Sunday 20th June 2021, 10,000 rock music fans descended upon the hallowed turf of Donington Park for the government-backed Download Pilot event.

Part of the second phase of the Government’s scientific Events Research Programme, the event had no masks and no social distancing, and attendees moshed to their brain’s content in the traditional Download Festival rain.

Afterwards, Download Pilot was hailed a resounding success with organisers confident that the event proved 100% that festivals will be able to go ahead from this point onward.
