After Metallica brought Thursday to a thunderous close, the 80,000-strong Download Festival faithful woke up once again to a day of glorious sunshine on the Friday.

Headlined by Bring Me The Horizon for the very first time, the Friday at Download Festival’s 20th anniversary extravaganza boasted a plethora of phenomenal live music from Evanescence, Within Temptation, Epica, Architects and more.
