Download Adds 22 New Acts
Cinderella, Ratt, Saxon, Airbourne and Y&T added to bill
Cinderella, Ratt, Y&T, Saxon and Steel Panther are amongst the ream of new acts to have been added to the bill of this year’s Download Festival.
Donington veterans Saxon will be playing their Wheels Of Steel album in full at the festival to celebrate its 30th anniversary, while glam metallers Cinderella will return to the venue for the first time since Monsters Of Rock in 1987.
Steel Panther return to the festival after providing one of the highlights last year, this time moving up to the second stage on Sunday 13 June.
The new acts join headliners AC/DC, Aerosmith and Rage Against The Machine as well as already confirmed Motörhead, Them Crooked Vultures, Wolfmother and Megadeth.
