DOWNLOAD 2011 TICKETS ON SALE TODAY

Tickets for next year's Download Festival go on sale at MIDDAY today to help fans beat the VAT increase in the new year.

Organisers had originally intended to put tickets on sale next year, but due to "overwhelming public demand” they have decided to release them today.

Download is due to be headlined by System Of A Down and Linkin Park along with an as yet unnamed third band.

Rob Zombie and Avenged Sevenfold have also been confirmed to play, while more acts are due to be announced in coming weeks.

The festival takes place once again at Donington Park over the weekend of 10-12 June.
