Doors Duo Make UK Date
Krieger & Manzarek bring Doors music to the midlands
Robbie Krieger and Ray Manzarek are bringing the music of The Doors to the UK with a very special show.
An Evening with Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger of The Doors with The Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra takes place at the Wolverhampton Civic Hall on Sunday 18 July.
The duo’s tour will see them performing with a local 52 piece orchestra in each city they visit. Conductor Brent Havens, has charted out The Doors songs that will take the band and audience on a "two hour plus ride of their musical history”; "Light My Fire", "Break On Through", "L.A. Woman", "Riders On The Storm", "Roadhouse Blues", "Touch Me", "Crystal Ship", "Love Me Two Times", "Waiting For The Sun" and many more.
Meanwhile, the brand new Doors documentary, When You’re Strange, is due for release early in the Summer.
