In this exclusive one hour special we look at the history of music at Castle Donington, from 1980's inaugural Monsters Of Rock to this year's Download Festival.
We talk to festival organiser Andy Copping and some of the legends of rock that have graced the famous stage over the past 30 years, including Def Leppard's Joe Elliott and Rick Savage, Slash, Bon Jovi's Richie Sambora and Whitesnake's David Coverdale.
We will also be playing live tracks from some of the bands to have played at the festival and talking about why this little piece of England has become the spiritual home of rock and metal in the world.
