Def Leppard Drummer announces new organisation

Rick Allen has appeared on American television to launch a new group to help US veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. The Raven Drum Foundation will provide music therapy for recovering amputees and other injured soldiers.

The organisation will also hold ‘Warrior Gatherings’ at Def Leppard shows in the US so those in need can share their experiences and meet fellow sufferers. 

Rick, who lost an arm in a car accident almost 30 years ago, announced the news on US Breakfast show ‘Good Morning America’.
