Def Lep, Ozzy, Alice Pick Up Kerrang Awards

Last night saw the cream of the metal and rock world descend on East London

Def Leppard – set to headline the Download Festival on Friday, were honoured with the Kerrang! Inspiration Award (presented by HMV). As one of the world's best selling artists with worldwide album sales topping 65 million, Def Leppard remain one of the crown jewels of British rock music.

And as previously announced, Ozzy Osbourne was crowned Kerrang! Legend, and this award was presented to Ozzy's son Jack Osbourne by shock-rocker Rob Zombie.

Alice Cooper was awarded the title of Kerrang! Icon (presented by Orange Amplification) for his services to the rock & metal world and pioneering a brand new style of theatrical performance.
