Dee Snider Slams Axl Rose For Hall Of Fame Snub
And the Hall Of Fame say they will induct Rose anyway
At the Revolver Golden Gods awards on Wednesday night Twisted Sister frontman Snider was speaking to Slash for an interview, and while the former GNR guitarist refused to make a comment on the situation Snider said "Someone just told me that it's official Axl is not gonna sing at the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame, and I said it's crap. I said, if he can't put this stuff aside for an event like that, for a recognition like that, to do the cool thing, and just in respect of what you guys have done, I think it's totally screwed up."
Meanwhile, the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame organisers have responded to Axl's lengthy open letter which turned down his induction by releasing a statement which suggests that they will induct him anyway:
"We are sorry Axl will not be able to accept his induction in person. We are looking forward to still inducting Guns N' Roses this weekend and will proceed forward with our original plan whether Axl is present or not."
