David Gilmour confirms Royal Albert Hall shows
The Pink Floyd guitarist reprises his 2015 run
Following his triumphant five-night residency at the Royal Albert Hall this year, music icon David Gilmour will once again be returning to the venue in autumn 2016.
The Pink Floyd legend will play a total of four shows at the hallowed 5,000 capacity concert hall in late September.
Guaranteed to be high in demand, tickets for David’s 2016 shows go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 4th December.
Acclaimed by critics and fans alike, David’s 2015 Royal Albert Hall gigs saw him play epic 21-song sets that melded solo tracks with classics from Pink Floyd’s formidable musical arsenal, including: ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’, ‘Wish You Were Here’, ‘Breathe’ and ‘Comfortably Numb’.
David unleashed his fourth studio album ‘Rattle That Lock’ in September and, testament to his enduring popularity, it stormed straight in at number one.
