David Bowie's 'Blackstar' LP does magical things in direct sunlight
Fans have been taking to social media to share images and videos of the surprise reveal...
Almost four months on from his untimely death, David Bowie still continues to surprise and amaze his fans.
A user of image sharing site imgur discovered that when you hold the gatefold sleeve of the vinyl edition of ‘Blackstar’ up to direct sunlight (remove the record itself, of course, as vinyl isn't that transparent...), a galactic, starry pattern is revealed.
After the phenomenon was discovered on imgur, users of Twitter have been sharing images and videos of the reveal. This one shows what happens when you shine a torch on 'Blackstar':

Bowie’s son Duncan Jones even commented on it, telling his Twitter followers: “Leaving us surprises even now. So clever. So missed.”
Long term Bowie producer and kindred spirit Tony Visconti said of 'Blackstar' in January: "(Bowie) always did what he wanted to do. And he wanted to do it his way and he wanted to do it the best way. His death was no different from his life - a work of Art.
"He made Blackstar for us, his parting gift. I knew for a year this was the way it would be. I wasn't, however, prepared for it.
"He was an extraordinary man, full of love and life. He will always be with us.”
