David Bowie Nominated For Mercury Prize
'The Next Day' receives the prestigious nod.
The 2013 nominations for the Barclaycard Mercury Prize were revealed tonight (September 11) at a ceremony at London's Hospital Club.
The album was Bowie's first full-length release in a decade and is currently joint bookmakers favourite (along with Arctic Monkeys' "AM") to win the prize in October.
