Dave Davies - new album
'I Will Be Me' released today.
The new record by The Kinks legend consists of entirely new material, and features guest appearances by The Jayhawks, Anti-Flag, award winning blues guitarist Oli Brown and Chris Spedding, among others. Davies is currently in the middle of a brief US tour in order to promote the album.
'I Will Be Me' sees a return for Dave to his groundbreaking guitar sound and innovative songwriting.
The musician and singer has also returned to filial agreement with his brother Ray, with the two long sharing a tempestuous relationship; one which led to the breakup of The Kinks in 1996. However Davies now states that they get along fine.
