Cream bassist Jack Bruce dies at the age of 71

Jack Bruce, singer,composer, singer and multi-instrumentalist, has died of liver disease, aged 71.  Jack Bruce who played with numerous bands in the early 60's, rose to fame with the band Cream which he formed with Eric Clapton and Ginger Baker in 1966.  His writing credits include the songs I Feel Free, Sunshine Of Your Love and White Room.  Cream sold 35 million albums in just over two years and were awarded the world's first ever platinum disc for their album Wheels of Fire

After the band split up in 1968, Jack continued playing live and releasing albums right up until 2014, with his last studio album "Silver Rails" which was released in March of this year.
