Courtney Love "Not Amused" with Cobain's Replacement
Cobain's widow vents her feelings on McCartney performing with Nirvana.
Courtney Love has taken to Facebook to air her comments about the recent Paul McCartney fronted Nirvana reunion.
Writing on a Facebook page for a book about the grunge scene, Kurt Cobain’s widow said "If they don't do songs they didn't write I don't care."
She also responded to a fan who praised the charity performance by Dave Grohl, Krist Novoselic and Pat Smear by saying "really? with Krist's bass playing? Let's be clear he's not exactly known for its brilliance."
Her comments followed a report on TMZÂ in which Love said she was "not amused" by McCartney's involvement, but that "if John Lennon were alive it would be cool."
