Shock rock king plans album inspired by The Hollywood Vampires

Alice told Rolling Stone magazine he plans to record the album after completing  his upcoming tour with Marilyn Manson.

The album will be a tribute to Alice's old group of drinking buddies, who called themselves 'The Hollywood Vampires'. They included Keith Moon, John Lennon, Harry Nilsson, Micky Dolenz. The shock rocker already performs four songs per show as a tribute to past friends - "Break On Through,” "Revolution,” "My Generation” and Jimi Hendrix’s "Foxey Lady.”.

The idea is currently being "bounced around" between Alice and producer Bob Ezrin.
