Classic Era Ratt Bassist Rejoins

Juan Croucier is back with the band

Classic Rock Magazine reports that the band have reunited with their former bassist, 20 years after he left.

Juan Croucier played with Ratt from 1982 to 1992 before he left in acrimonious circumstances but he has returned after bassist Robbie Crane departed earlier this year.

Stephen Pearcy confirmed in an interview: "Juan is playing with Robbie’s blessing. We had a great rehearsal with Juan today. He’s welcome back, and I’m very excited about it.”

Croucier joined the American glam icons in 1982 and appeared on their self-titled EP the following year, then breakthrough album Out of The Cellar in 1984. He wrote some of their biggest tracks and his backing vocals became a part of their trademark sound.

Sadly a full reunion of the classic line-up won't be possible as original guitarist Robbin Crosby passed away in 2002.
