Classic Creedence Concert To Be Released?

Band want to release a 1970 Albert Hall show on DVD soon

A performance by Creedence Clearwater Revival at the Albert Hall from April 1970 may be released on DVD in the near future, it has been revealed.

The band played two shows at the iconic London venue on 14-15 April 1970 and bassist Stu Cook revealed that he hopes that one of the shows is released in the near future.

Talking to Classic Rock, Cook says: "The whole of one of our two shows at the venue was filmed, and it’s sitting in the vaults. Every year we get closer to the release, inch by inch. Mind you, now that the era of DVDs seems to be over, perhaps we’ve missed the boat!

"That footage will bring back some great memories of our trip over there. Eric Clapton and Paul McCartney even turned up – two of our heroes!”

Cook is currently touring with Creedence drummer Doug Clifford as Creedence Clearwater Revisted.
