Chris Cornell Releases New Song

The song, entitled 'The Keeper', is on the soundtrack for new action film Machine Gun Preacher.

The film is based on the true story of Sam Childers, a former drug-dealing criminal who finds faith and heads to the Sudan to work with a children's charity before being drawn into a conflict.

Cornell donated money from the first 24 hours of sales of the single to Sam Childers' Angels of East Africa charity.
