Chickenfoot's sophomore album, "Chickenfoot III", is likely to sell between 50,000 and 60,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to industry web site Hits Daily Double. The estimate was based on one-day sales reports compiled after the record was released in shops on Tuesday.

The band's debut album sold 49000 copies in its first week in June 2009.

The album is out this week as a Classic Rock Magazine Fan Pack but that is not eligible for the charts, so the band will need to wait until 24 October for the full UK release.
