Cats In Space to support Deep Purple on UK arena tour
Deep Purple have added a second support act to their upcoming inFinite The Long Goodbye Tour.
Horsham power pop rockers Cats In Space will open proceedings in Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow and London this November ahead of special guests Europe and the legendary main act.
Cats In Space confirmed their coveted slot on the Deep Purple tour at the Borderline in London last night (27th September), which was the final date of their headline tour supporting second studio album ‘Scarecrow’.
Guitarist Greg Hart enthuses: “It’s been a pretty amazing year so far, and to be asked to do these shows makes me realise we’ve come a really long way in the 5 minutes or so since we formed the band.
“Deep Purple fans are clearly lovers of quality music, and our tunes are huge, so we’re confident we’ll make a good impression in these arenas. Bring it on baby, the Cats are coming, in fact we can’t wait!”
Tickets to the inFinite The Long Goodbye Tour are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now.
