Cale & Nash Get Royal Honours

OBEs for veteran rock stars in Queen\'s Birthday Honours

Velvet Underground’s John Cale and Graham Nash of Crosby, Stills & Nash have been honoured in the Queen’s Birthday Honour’s List.

The veteran rock stars were both given OBEs in the most recent round of royal honours after more than 40 years in the music industry.

Nash, who is officially a US citizen these days, said of the honour "Everything I learned about being a decent human being I learned in England and I am grateful to be honoured by the country of my birth."

You will be able to see Graham Nash OBE when he takes to the stage as part of Crosby, Stills & Nash in the UK in a couple of weeks.

CSN play four headline UK shows in July and a support slot with Paul McCartney at the Hard Rock Calling festival in a couple of weeks.
