Buffalo Springfield Reunite For Charity

Surviving members play Bridge School show

The surviving members of Buffalo Springfield reunited onstage for the first time in 42 years at the weekend.

Stephen Stills, Neil Young and Richie Furay played together at Young’s Bridge School Benefit Show on Saturday night for the first time since the band’s farewell concert at Long Beach Arena on 5 May 1968.

Rolling Stone reports that the concert featured a "near-flawless performance”.

With CSN drummer Joe Vitale in for the late Dewey Martin and Young’s longtime bassist Rick Rosas replacing the late Bruce Palmer the band played a mixture of big hitters and obscure material, with a recently slimmed down Stephen Stills sounding better than he has for years and Furay sounding exactly as he did 40+ years ago.
