Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played a triumphant three-hour, 28-song set at American Express presents BST Hyde Park in London last night (6th July).
The epic concert in front of 65,000 adoring fans was the first of two sold-out shows at BST Hyde Park, with the second gig taking place on Saturday.
The show also marked the first time Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played Hyde Park since they headlined Hard Rock Calling in 2012.
Springsteen’s Hard Rock Calling concert 11 years ago (in)famously had the sound pulled during set closer ‘Twist and Shout’ with special guest Paul McCartney due to a curfew from Westminster Council, and The Boss duly poked fun at the incident last night.
Following song no.25 on the night ‘Glory Days’, Springsteen told his band mates, “It’s time to go home… I’m telling you they are going to pull the f---ing plug again!”
Guitarist Stevie Van Zandt hilariously replied: “F--- ‘em!”

The Boss and his legendary band's performances on The Great Oak Stage at Hyde Park are part of a UK tour that has already visited Edinburgh BT Murrayfield Stadium and Birmingham Villa Park.
