Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band launched into a conga when their Paris show was blighted by a power cut on Monday night (11th July).

The band were midway through third encore track ‘Ramrod’ when a fuse blew at the AccorHotels Arena resulting in the momentary loss of lighting and no sound for a total of 20 minutes.

Rather than retire backstage, Bruce performed acoustically before embarking on a conga line through the crowd with members of The E Street Band including his wife Patti Scialfa, Nils Lofgren and saxophonist Jake Clemons.

Proving once again why he’s called The Boss, during the enforced break Bruce also entertained the crowd by chatting to fans and signing autograph.

Once the technical team had resolved the sound issues, Bruce returned to the stage for a typically rip-roaring performance of 'Dancing In The Dark' together with 'Born To Run', 'The River' and 'Badlands' and ultimate song 'Thunder Road'.

Bruce plays another show at the AccorHotels Arena tonight before The River Tour calls in at Rome, Horsens, Gothenburg, Trondheim, Oslo and Zurich.
