Exclusive: British Lion premiere 'The Burning' video
British Lion, the side-project of Iron Maiden bassist and sole constant member Steve Harris, have premiered the video for their latest single ‘The Burning’ exclusively on Planet Rock.
Following October 2018’s ‘Spit Fire’ and last autumn’s ‘Lightning’, ‘The Burning’ is the third single to be lifted from British Lion’s album of the same name, ‘The Burning’, which is unleashed to the world this Friday (17th January).
‘The Burning’ video is filmed in stark black-and-white and melds footage of singer Richard Taylor belting out the track in Great Yarmouth with clips of British Lion in their imperious live glory.

Alongside Steve on bass and keyboards and Richard on vocals, British Lion consists of guitarists David Hawkins and Grahame Leslie, and drummer Simon Dawson.
‘The Burning’ was recorded, engineered and mixed at Barnyard Studios by Tony Newton and produced by Steve Harris himself.

‘Lightning’ and ‘Spit Fire’ are available for immediate download with all album pre-orders.
Richard Taylor says of the record: “We’ve been working on The Burning for the past couple of years and everyone is really pleased with the results.
“We started playing some of the songs live on recent tours and got a fantastic reaction from our fans, so we are really excited to be sharing this album with the world.”
British Lion played a short six-date UK tour last December and they kick off their debut headline US tour in Orlando, Florida on Saturday night.
