Bono Denies Health Scare
The U2 frontman says reports of hospitalisation are nonsense
Reports emerged over the weekend that Bono had been rushed to the Princess Grace Memorial Hospital while holidaying in Monaco last week after complaining of heart pains.
However, it seems that the stories were entirely false.
A statement on U2's official website said:
"Despite press stories to the contrary Bono has not suffered a health scare.
"Reports of him being rushed to hospital for emergency treatment are untrue. Bono is in good health and enjoying a family holiday in the south of France.Â
"The sighting of Bono ‬at Princess Grace Hospital was due to a routine check up."
