Columbia Records & Legacy Recordings are set to release Bob Dylan - The 30th Anniversary Concert Celebration - Deluxe Edition for the first time on DVD and Blu-ray.

The release features full footage of the concert at Madison Square Garden in New York in October 1992 which saw the live gathering of musical giants to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Bob Dylan's first Columbia Records album in 1962. Icons like Eric Clapton and Johnny Cash play the Dylan songs that had inspired them; from the classic (John Mellencamp's no-nonsense "Like A Rolling Stone") to the obscure (Lou Reed's acerbic take on "Foot of Pride").

The concert film will be released this March on CD, DVD and Blu-Ray and is struck from a High Definition video master with remastered audio.

It was also revealed this week that Dylan would feature in two special adverts for this year’s Super Bowl half time slot. The adverts in question will be for Chobani yoghurts which will feature the Blonde on Blonde classic ‘I Want You’; the other for Chrysler will actually feature the legend in person. Dylan has a strange history with advertising - here he is in an interview in 1965 joking that he would only use his music to advertise ’ladies garments’, followed by his bizarre 2004 advert for Victoria’s Secret:
