Leading the announcement today are English thrash metal trailblazers Acid Reign, who play the Friday on the Ronnie James Dio Stage.

The Harrogate band reformed in 2015 after 24 years away and performed one of the sets of the entire weekend at Bloodstock four years ago.

“There is a lot of excitement in the AR camp right now, we finally got a new album out after all these years (29 to be exact) and now we get to put a Bloodstock sized cherry on the top of that cake. Can't wait to see you all there!"

Also appearing on the Ronnie James Dio Stage are Bristol’s hardcore punk crew Svalbard, who play the Friday, and goth metallers Idle Hands on the Sunday.
