Blackmore's Night Singer Readies Solo Album
Candice Night to release debut solo effort in September
Blabbermouth reports that Night, who is married to guitar legend Ritchie Blackmore, will release her debut solo album, Reflections, on 22 September. It is preceded by single, 'Call It Love' which is out now.
Commenting on 'Call It Love', Night states, "So many people are so afraid of the word 'love.' It's all-consuming, life-changing and can leave you so open and vulnerable that saying 'I love you' for the first time can be a scary moment. We hide behind so many other words to describe the emotion: fate, a dream, luck that we met the right one... but once you give in and surrender to the truth of being in love, there is a comfort and a warmth of completion that doesn't come until you give yourself fully to that incredible feeling of being in love. And there is nothing else like it."
