Black Stone Cherry reschedule UK tour to 2021
They play 16 shows with Kris Barras Band
Black Stone Cherry have become the umpteenth band to reschedule their UK tour to 2021 because of the ongoing situation with the coronavirus pandemic.
The Kentucky arena rockers, who released their collaborative single ‘Love Become Law’ with Monster Truck last week under their Cherry Truck Band moniker, were due to hit the UK this October for 16 relatively intimate headline shows.
Black Stone Cherry have now confirmed these UK concerts shows will take place in September 2021 and all tickets will remain valid. Kris Barras Band will remain as the special guests.
"We’ve been closely monitoring the unprecedented global situation and it has become clear that it’s just not possible to go ahead with the shows as planned,” Black Stone Cherry said in a statement.
“We have looked at many options, but ultimately the health of our fans, crew and family is paramount. The Black Stone Cherry Tour due to take place in October 2020 has been rescheduled to September 2021.
“We’re pleased to have been able to reschedule the tour in the same venues, so do hang on to your ticket – it will be valid for the new date. We cannot wait to come see you all with a new album under our belt and oh how much sweeter this tour will be! In the meantime, stay safe and look after each other."
Chris Robertson, Ben Wells, Jon Lawhon and John Fred Young have been continuing the hard work on their seventh studio album throughout recent months and it’s tentatively due for release in the autumn.
