The Kentucky-based band will play The Borderline on 24th January. Tickets for the Planet Rock Live gig will cost just £15 and all funds raised will go to the Teenage Cancer Trust, who do much needed work with the many young people with cancer all over the UK.

Guitarist Ben Wells says, "We are thrilled to be starting 2016 with the Carnival Of Madness in the UK, but what's even cooler is that we're kicking that tour off with a very special show at The Borderline! It's gonna be so cool to go back to a small place and get low down nasty and sweaty with a room packed full of BSC fans! We are excited to say the show will also benefit the Teenage Cancer Trust charity, which is such an incredible organization! The UK has given us so much, it's time we return the favour."

Jen Walker, Music Industry Developer at Teenage Cancer Trust, comments: “We are hugely excited to be involved with BLACK STONE CHERRY’s gig at The Borderline. Their support will help us to provide the best treatment, care and support for the seven young people who are diagnosed with cancer every day.”

Tickets for the gig are now sold out, but listen to Planet Rock from 10am on Monday 18th January to find out how you could win a pair of tickets!

Planet Rock are excited to be involved, commenting "Over the years, Planet Rock has built a close mutual friendship with the guys in BLACK STONE CHERRY. We have been there from the beginning and it’s great to see the band go from strength to strength, not only from a live perspective but with their recorded releases. The Borderline gig will be one of those "must be at” kind of shows. Their music, their energy and their southern charm make a perfect cocktail for a great and memorable night of southern rock."

Black Stone Cherry's new album, 'Kentucky', their first for new label, the Mascot Label Group, is set for a 1st April release, so expect to hear a few new tunes at this special gig! Check out new song, 'The Way of the Future' below:
