Black Star Riders announce UK tour warm up show with Planet Rock

Ahead of their fervently awaited UK tour, Black Star Riders have announced a very special warm-up gig with Planet Rock.

Published 23rd Feb 2017

The band will play the 550-capacity Wolverhampton Slade Rooms this coming Tuesday (28th February) with tickets costing just £10 (plus £1 booking fee)!

Having recently stormed into the charts at no.6 with their incredible third studio album ‘Heavy Fire’, it’s your chance to see Black Star Riders in relatively intimate surroundings.

Better still, support at the gig will come from Stone Broken, fresh from their appearance at Winter’s End!

Tickets to the show go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 9am Friday 24th February.

Singer Ricky Warwick says of the intimate gig: "We have been off the road for over 15 months, so we thought it would be cool to do a warm up show prior to the tour proper. We are very grateful to our friends at Planet Rock for presenting the show for us.

“We decided to choose a UK venue as centrally located as we could so everyone could have the opportunity to join us. Plus in this world of ever increasing expense, we decided to make the tickets only £10! Looking forward to getting back on stage and seeing you all there!”

Kicking off in Cardiff on 2nd March and taking in 15 further dates across the UK and Ireland, tickets to Black Star Riders’ UK tour are available right here.
