Black Country Communion see their debut album riding high in UK charts
Black Country Communion have ended up at number 13 in the UK album charts with their debut album.
The band, who launched the record with a tiny showcase last Monday, landed in the upper echelons of the charts at their first attempt, and the album represents a UK career high for all of the band except Glenn Hughes, for whom the album is his highest charting for decades.
Phil Collins ended up on top of the charts with his soul covers album while Robert Plant is hanging around the top ten with his latest studio album, Band Of Joy which is resting at number five.
Santana also had a decent week, appearing at number 15 with his latest album, which is a collection of covers of some of his favourite guitar classics.
