The follow-up to Bad Touch’s October 2018 album ‘Shake A Leg’ is available to buy on CD, white vinyl and digital download formats via Marshall Records and it’s preceded by the single ‘Strut’, which premieres on Friday 13th March.
‘Kiss The Sky’ was recorded, produced and mixed by Nick Brine at the fabled Rockfield Studios in Monmouth, Wales before being mixed at the world-famous Abbey Road Studios in London.
“We’re so excited about this recording,” enthuses voluminously haired singer Stevie Westwood.
“Just to record our songs in such a legendary place as Rockfield was a real buzz. I know it’s a cliché but, in our humble opinion, this is our most exciting recording to date, and we can’t wait to get it out there in front of a crowd.”
Here is the ‘Kiss The Sky’ artwork:
According to blurb promoting the album, ‘Kiss The Sky’ is a ‘power-packed, no-nonsense rock and roll’ record that ‘has the groove with huge chorus hooks, foot stomping guitar riffs and an abundance of energy overflowing within each track.’
Bad Touch precede the release of ‘Kiss The Sky’ with a 12-date UK tour that kicks off with a homecoming gig at The Waterfront Studio in Norwich on Monday 30th March before calling in Nottingham, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Leeds, London, Cardiff, Southampton, Saltash, Buckley, Newcastle and Glasgow.
Tickets are on sale from Planet Rock Tickets now. Special guests at all 12 dates are Bad Touch’s good mates, Cannock rockers Piston.
Bad Touch are Stevie Westwood (vocals), Rob Glendinning (guitar), Daniel Seekings (guitar), Michael Bailey (bass) and George Drewry (drums).
