Axl Rose Named Greatest Lead Singer
New poll names Guns N Roses frontman as the best of all time
Guns N Roses frontman Axl Rose has been named the greatest lead singer of all time in a new poll.
Music Radar put together the poll, which was voted for by their readers, and the GNR man came out on top ahead of Freddie Mercury and Robert Plant. To qualify for the poll an artist had to have fronted a band, rather than be a solo artist or front a solo vehicle (i.e. Springsteen, Hendrix).
Interestingly, Bon Scott makes the list at 16 while Brian Johnson does not feature at all.
