Axl Rose Guests On Jimmy Kimmel Live
Guns N' Roses vocalist gives rare interview.
Although famously reclusive when it comes to TV interviews, Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose made a rare appearence last night on Jimmy Kimmel live, marking his first in 20 years. The premise was, of course, the band's upcoming Las Vegas residency "Appetite for Democracy", which will be playing at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
A running theme of the interview was Axl's famous punctuality, or lack thereof, as the singer has built a reputation for not starting a concert until he personally feels ready.
"You're right on time. It's unbelievable" joked Kimmel, to which Rose laughed and replied that it was indeed "a miracle."
Aside from the upcoming Vegas shows, which will run from October 31 to November 24, the two discussed Axl's work outside of music, his appearance at the 26th Annual Bridge School Benefit Concert with Neil Young and some fan questions which were submitted via twitter.
Guns N' Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal joined the house band for the duration of the interview.
