Crosby, Stills and Nash are to play a benefit concert organised by the founders of the 1970's No Nukes shows.

The US gig will raise money for Musicians United for Safe Energy - to help those affected by the meltdowns at the Fukushima nuclear power plant in Japan and to support global initiatives in alternative, non-nuclear energy.

Other performers on the bill for the event include Jackson Browne and Rage Against the Machine.

The event takes place on the 7th of August at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California.
