Answer Start New Album
Band start writing follow up to Everyday Demons
Following their epic world tour with AC/DC The Answer have revealed that they have started writing their new album.
Bravewords quotes an update from the band’s guitarist Paul Mahon:
"Hope you are all having a great 2010 so far! We are busy writing the next album and getting ready for some shows in Spain which we are very excited about! The last time we played in Spain, the audience reaction rivalled that of a hometown crowd and anyone who was at the Ulsterhall show before Xmas knows that's saying something!
"We have just returned from Australia. We were playing at Alberts 125th anniversary party! It was a real honour to be asked to play and close the show! We played tonight and finished with a cover of the ROSE TATTOO classic 'Rock N Roll Outlaw'. Angry Anderson was in the audience. So if we didn't cut the mustard, there was a chance we would be bottled. But we rocked it and drew praise from the Rose Tattoo frontman and onetime neighbours soundtrack provider! The party had a very distinguished guestlist apart from us, including the Governer of Australia and director Baz Luhrmann.
"We also got to take in an AC/DC concert in Sydney. It was the first time we had watched an AC/DC show and not been the opening band. It was a strange but highly enjoyable experience! On our final day in Oz,we played on the rooftop of the Alberts building and the police came and shut us down for noise pollution! Some people just dont get it eh?”
The Answer recently confirmed their first dates of 2010, with three shows in Spain next week and a slot at the High Voltage Festival in London in July.
