Anderson, Rabin and Wakeman expand UK tour due to demand
Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin and Rick Wakeman have added an extra show to their inaugural UK tour.
The Yes legends will now play a fresh date at London Hammersmith Apollo on Saturday 18th March 2017 in addition to thier show there the following night.
Tickets to the new London show go on sale from Planet Rock Tickets at 10am on Friday 14th October.
Performing the timeless music of Yes, the trio are currently picking up rave reviews on their North American tour, which kicked off in Florida last week.
The setlist at the latest pit stop at Atlanta’s Fox Theater on Monday night (10th October) boasted 15 Yes classics together with Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe’s ‘The Meeting’. Amongst other tunes, they played: Owner of a Lonely Heart, Perpetual Change and Roundabout.
Writing about the band on his blog back in August, Rick Wakeman said the tour was about much more than Jon, Trevor and himself.
“One thing that became abundantly clear (during rehearsals) was that Lee Pomeroy (bass) and Lou Molino III (drums) are much more than added ‘sidemen’,” Rick wrote.
“Their contributions to all that went on were immense and ARW is truly a 5-piece band of tremendous future potential. There truly can’t be a better bass player or drummer out there for ARW.”
