Watch: Alter Bridge’s epic video for new single ‘Silver Tongue’

Alter Bridge have released a new single called ‘Silver Tongue’ from their forthcoming 7th studio album ‘Pawns & Kings’.

The track is an absolute riff-fest and one of the heftiest in their canon, but still packs in the epic sense of melody the band are known for.

It’s accompanied by an equally epic animated video, which you can see below.

The hellish video was created and directed by Ollie Jones of Better Feeling Films (Myles Kennedy, Prodigy, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets).

It follows two characters who fall under the spell of a painting that comes to life, dragging them into a dark world and forcing them to fight for survival in a classic battle of good versus evil.

The band have also previously released a lyric video for the title-track ‘Pawns & Kings’.

The album is due out on October 14 and will be followed by an extensive European tour with Halestorm and Mammoth WVH supporting, including a run of UK dates in December.
