Allman Brothers Will Record New Album
Gregg Allman dismisses drummer\'s claim that they would not record again
A minor difference of opinion appears to have broken out in the Allman Brothers Band ranks after drummer Butch Trucks revealed in an interview that the the band would never release another new album.
The interview has drawn a rather curt response from band principle, Gregg Allman, though who revealed that the band WOULD be recording a new album.
He said "Butch Trucks just announced to the press that there will be no more studio records from the Allman Brothers. Well let me tell you, all I can say about that is I didn't tell you that. We will be getting in the studio... with or without Butchy. There I said it."
Allman plays a solo tour in the UK in July in support of recent solo album Low Country Blues.
1 July - London, Barbican Hall
2 July - Birmingham, Symphony Hall
3 July - Edinburgh, Usher Hall
