Allman Brothers Reveal Final Dates Of 2011
The band have been unusually quiet this year
Antimusic reports that the dates include two nights scheduled in Upper Darby (Philadelphia), PA at the Tower Theatre 26-27 November and four nights in Boston at the Orpheum Theatre 28-29 November 2-3 December.
These mark the last of only 22 shows in 2011 for the band - Gregg Allman (vocals and keyboards), Butch Trucks (drums and tympani), JAIMOE (drums), Warren Haynes (vocals, lead and slide guitar), Derek Trucks (slide and lead guitar), Oteil Burbridge (bass) and Marc Quinones (congas and percussion) - as group members focused on their other projects.
This year, Gregg Allman released Low Country Blues, Warren Haynes' band released Man In Motion and Derek Trucks and his wife Susan Tedeschi's group The Tedeschi Trucks Band released their first album, Revelator.
