Alice In Chains Guitarist Talks New Album
Jerry Cantrell says that the album is pretty much written
Speaking to Rolling Stone Cantrell revealed that the band had been writing throughout the past year, despite the fact that he was recovering from a long term injury.
"We started writing in 2011," Cantrell said. "Then I had shoulder surgery. I had to get some bone spurs and torn cartilage taken care of, so that put me back a little bit. But we've been writing through the whole process."
The band are expected to enter the studio in the next couple of months to start recording the follow up to 2009's excellent comeback album, Black Gives Way To Blue.
